The text includes essays by major designers Max Bill, Achille Castiglioni, Bruno Danese, Niels Diffrient, Herbert Gans, Jack Lenor Larsen, Olivier Mourgue, George Nelson, Carl Pott, Jens Quistgaard, Dieter Rams, Paul Reilly, Philip Rosenthal, Timo Sarpaneva, Ettore Sottsass, Hans Wegner, Marco Zanuso; selected Bibliography. The text also includes over 275 biographies of designers.One of the best compendiums of good design in modern furniture, pottery, glass, textiles, wood, enamels, metalwork, plastics, lighting, tableware, ceramics, appliances, fabrics and lamps ever put together. Highly recommended!
